Tetratec ex1200 plus impeller

    Hi,

    In desperate need of an impeller shaft or complete replacement part. Can't seem to find online or at lfs

    The shaft has snapped while I was doing maintainence.

    Anyone have a spare to sell?

    Thanks you for your reply. Before I read your reply, I had placed an order through loot.

    What was your experience with delivery?they are saying ships in 4-8 working days

    I contacted Marlton pets and they confirm that tetratec has been discontinued.

    I can’t remember anything specific (it was 6 years ago) other than also waiting forever for the item to arrive…

    Am pleased you managed to track the part down.

    FWIW - I am not a fan of the Tetratec filters
    I have one on my tank, and have had a few problems with it - inlet/outlet pipes disconnecting from filter, and leaking o-ring.

    Yeah if I could not get the part I was going to get a eheim. I have no issues to date, perhaps as it's the new plus model.i am aware the previous models had many issues.

    Maybe I got lucky. The tetratec has been running for 6 years and has not missed a beat. I may have damaged the impeller to be honest.
