Testing the water

Good afternoon everyone after a couple of month's worth of research i finally found the ability to help all the fellow hobbyists and ill most probably get allot of trouble for this

I am able to help everyone by supplying them with any type of aquarium hardware (filters /pumps/heaters/ ect)
They do need at a better rate
I hope this wouldn't make trouble for me

Please note i have no experience in sales .courier or anything else like that but do want to help

What do you guy's think of that ?
Is it a bad idea ?

 

Its always better if its the same product but cheaper

 

We do need more quality suppliers and I’ll gladly support lower prices.

Some thoughts here:
1. It’s a relatively small market already, and you’d need to build your reputation to get business away from the established shops like McMerwe, Easyscape, Jungle Aquatics etc.
2. Most manufacturers stipulate minimum pricing levels - you’ll notice there are very small price differences between shops on items from brands like ADA, Chihiros etc
3. Logistics and warehousing is no joke - these would need to be included in your price.
4. Keep in mind customs duties on imports, if you haven’t allowed for this already.
5. You can cut your costs by only having an online shop, but many customers still prefer knowing there is a physical store.
