Terrapin or Turtle

    Hi All

    We have had some great rain up here in Namibia over the last 6 weeks and your dams are full. i want for a walk yesterday and I found this little critter walking across from one dam to the other. I am wondering if anyone of you guys and girls know what family he belongs to????

    That is a terrapin, they pull their heads in sideways with their legs too the sides while a turtle pulls its head back and closes its legs in front of it. Don't know what species though.
