I need to do some work on my large tank (ca 750 litres) and so I will need to put my fish somewhere temporarily. Maybe as long as a week or so if things don't go according to plan. I have 4 large oscars, a couple of green terrors and some botias. Any ideas?

    Some thoughts so far:
    - Get a large additional tank (anyone selling a nice 2.5m tank?).
    - Get a IBC container and cut the top off. No idea where to get one, and it won't be easy to transport as it won't fit in my car.

Temporary filtration may also be an issue. I have an moderately sized Eheim canister (1000 l/h) that I can use, which may be okay for filtration a short time. What other ideas does anyone have?

    TIA,

    Jonathan

I have used those big plastic storage containers
There are a few in my garage for emergencies.
They range from 20L to about 90L

    Maybe one per fish?
And a small internal filter with some media from your external.

When my tank was leaking i bought one of those square industrial koiponds at plastics4africa.
    They hold about 750 liters.

Can you put your existing filter on your temporary accommodation?
