    Is anyone here with tanks in Edgemead, Goodwood area that can confirm their tap water pH? Mine is a whopping 9.1

    I test with a pen and have confirmed it is calibrated and confirmed accurate.

    Been trying to figure out why my tank is sitting at 7.6....so I measured the tap water. :eek:

    Did you let the tap water sit for a day before testing?

    Check at Northern Aquatics...they're right next door as well (Bothasig).

    @MariaS,

    Before testing, it's best to let the water settle for 24 hours or so as @RazeenP has mentioned.
