Yes, that's fluorescent pink gravel. It used to colour the whole house pink at night.

C'mon, post 'em up, I know you guys had similar setups...:p

Thankfully the tank ended its own life by bursting and flooding the living room. This was almost two years ago.

As long as it gets your other half interested in your hobby who cares what the tank looks like. i had to add a astronaugt to one of my tanks to make my gf happy.

What us men have to do to keep the other half happy......

My wife just comes home with the most fantastic things for the tank.... (Most of which are still in the cabinet under the tank)

My wife-to-be already had a 3 foot when I met her - BONUS!

The only problem I have is she is really fond of the little tank ornaments and has a stack of them!

Thank goodness she doesn't like the really tacky plastic rubbish - PHEW!

She really supports my hobby so I have conceded to set up my currently empty 180l Hex as our "Toy Tank" - she just isn't allowed to get any more!

Luckily my wife hinted she wants discus for her tank she is getting (not practical cause it's only a 3ft, but it shows she's got taste!)
