    Hi all,

I have posted the details of my tank before but here is just a quick rundown of what i have at the moment.

    4 x Kribensis
    2 x Pearl Gouramis
    6 x Neons
    6 x Harelquins
    2 x albino corys
    3 x panda corys
    2 x pepper corys

At present im not happy with the stock i current have in my tank.. I want some life and i cant seem to get a pair of kribs that will breed we seem to have a male only population in PE.. Anyways back to my story.

I want to change my fish stock in my tank. I want to just get some general comments as to what you guys think, since fish shops just want to sell fish they dont really care about compatibility.. I have a fairly decent relationship with one of our LFS and he will allow me to sell some of my fish back to him.

    So:
Sell 3 krib males (keep best 1)
    Sell gouramis
    Sell harelquins (maybe)

I would like to stock these in my tank eventually.

    2 x crib (1 x male / female)
    2 x angels (pair)
    12 x Neons (adding 6)
    7 x corys

would those above 4 fish be able to live in harmony.. The only thing ill really be adding is angel fish.. ALSO PLEASE GIVE OTHER RECOMENDATIONS.

    Thanks
    Freaksta

Just over 100liters. At present many of my fish are still rather small, but i am not happy with the comosition of my fish. (its a well established tank, has been running for almost two years) :)

ok so u want a vibrant tank with fish up and down and the such?

angels arent the most lively of fish and kribs like hiding amongst the rocks and things so you hardly gonna see them.

at the moment i have 3 big oscars and 2 plecos in a 1.5 and they also dont do much the big pleco is the most vibrant fish funny enough

ja they could though the angels when big enough will prey on the neons

If this is a standard 100L, I would be weary about having angels in there, as they grow tall rather than long, so anything less than 50cm deep is not very fair on them!!

    Regards

your tank is 100L so I think you might be over stocking .

angels need their swimming space they will not tolerate small fish if they get in the way .
    I have 2 angels
    4 corys
    a couple livebearers
ghost knife and a eel in a 280l
so you can keep angels with quite a variety

To get a pair of angels you would initially have to buy at least six untill 2 pair off.

have you thought about stocking some Danios? a school fo leopard and zebra danios (10 or so) looks pretty awesome and they are pretty lively. Not to mention rather cheap too.

+1 for Danios ... just brought some in from an outside tank - added them to the 4ft community and they changed the balance in the tank chasing up and down the whole time .. think I might even have some fry - not sure waiting for them to grow before I can catch them and switch the outside heater off for the winter.

Scrap the idea of adding angels to a 100L tank. I breed angels and the smallest breeding tank for a pair, is a 100L - 50x50x50 cube!
Keep the harlequins and pearl gourami's - they are very placid and colourfull/undemanding.
    Just my 2cents...

You can always ask Dolphin to build you a custom tank for a very good price.

First of all, I would suggest that you stick to one type of Corydora. Of the current ones that you have in your tank, I like the Pandas the most. That covers the bottom feeders that you would want in your tank. Then look at something that will help control the algae. Otocinclus catfish make a great algae cleaning crew. They like loads of hiding space, and like to have some of their own kind as company. Neons will do fine with Corydoras and Otocinclus. Then I would add a feature fish. Something that will be the center of attraction. Maybe something like Bolivian Rams. All these fish require the same water parameters, and none of them area really aggressive.
    So to summaries my suggestion:
    5 x Panda Corydoras
    3 x Otocinclus
    12 x Neons
2 x Bolivian Rams (A pair if you can find them)
