    Hi guys,

I am 'exchanging' my Bristlenose Plecos as it is to big for the tank and the poops strings are irretating me!!

What other Algea eaters can I use?

Also the clown loach needs to be replaced. What else?

The parrot is out, so I want to introduce bright coloured fish (for my 2year old) and some plants!

What is the tank size? Otos need lots of algae to really be happy and survive. Guppies are bright and hardy fish.

Tank is an absolute bigginers tank!

About 50l with the thermostat, filters and pump situated in the back.
The algea is quite aggresive (or it the lack of eaters) as I need to clean the glass very offen and also the plastic plants are full of it.

Im looking for 'colony' fish. I read the clown loaches are perfect for it, but my tank is way to small for 15cm fish :)

Otos as has been suggested above.

It is a good idea to supplement a pure algea diet with other fresh greens and vegetables.

Yes 50L is WAY to small for a clown loach. You should rather try and eliminate the source of algae then try to clean it the whole time.
