Tank mates for Dwarf Gourami

I saw someone mentioned (I think it was Zoom, I might be mistaken though) that there sister has dwarf gouramies and blue rams in the same tank.

Can you tell me how they get along?

I've decided to scrap the Angel idea until we've moved and can put them in a fairly large tank.

I've replied to your PM I've never noticed any tension in my tank between the two... but let me watch them extra-carefully this week, and I'll let you know. As I said, it's only one ram and one dwarf gourami, so I can't comment on group behaviour.

I have not kept a dwarf gourami with a ram but with some other things.
The dwarf gourami do fine as a community fish untill he descover that he can claim
a space just for himself. Then they get pretty mean.
always try to keep him with other fish because I think once he lived on his own he realize that is much better
for him and terorize the other.

But you know how it goes, what works once may never work again

 

So true that Vis. The Dwarf gouramis is in a community tank and afaik has always been with other fish. We'll see how it goes.
