2 More dyas to go then i'm off to Taiwan, any ideas what can be found that is intresting there at the lps?

 

I met an LPS owner in Durban while I was there over the weekend who mentioned that when he visited Taiwan he saw a massive LPS that had well over 800 blue regal tangs in stock!!! I cant imagine how many tanks they had - he couldnt remember the name!

So if you find that LPS, take loads of pics!

Anyone on the forum planed any Fishy trips to Singapore, Malaysia, South America...
I would be definitely interested

 

Maybe some betta breeding farms and freshwater gobies. Or do I have the wrong place here

 

you got the right place for the freshwater Stiphodon gobies, not really for betta farms...

 

I can only drool when I watch the youtube Fish farm videos.

I think the only thing you will be able to bring back are pictures - not to sure what if anything you can bring back without loads of paper work. Wonder one could declare plants for personal use and bring them in without to much hassle? Probably not.

If you’re in Taipei have a look at the shops near the river. You will also be surprised at the fish in tanks at many of the restaurants. Most have tanks either inside, or outside on the street where you can choose what you want to eat. I saw some species of fish and shrimps that I had never seen before, swimming around waiting to be eaten.

 

spending 2 days in taipei, i want to go hunting for LPS this time, let see what i will find. see you all again on the 10th.
