T5 Lighting HELP

Hi all.

I'm in some desperate need of some help.
I purchased a T5 ballast (39wx2) a few days ago, and I received my globes from The Lamphouse yesterday. I followed the wiring diagram which is on the ballast using the waterproof T5 end caps, but my globes still aren't coming on.
I notice that on the wiring diagram that's on the ballast there is a star, which i don't know what that means, and don't know if that's maybe my problem.
Attached is a picture of the ballast.



This is not a picture of my ballast, but the wiring diagram and make is the same.

I am afraid, the info you supply isn't really conducive to providing much help.
Make sure that all connections make proper contact.
Can you upload a picture of your ballast with your wiring, posting a pic of a different make of ballast and wiring isn't useful to fault finding.
Not sure what the 'star' means, but perhaps a pic will shed some proper light on the subject (pun intended! -lol)

 

Assuming the star is middle, this is where you need to connect the wire which is joining the two bulb in the diagram. In other wards after you have connected all the terminals to the gloves you should have 1 terminal left open on each bulb and only a single contact point left open on your ballast. You then will collect two wires to the single point on the ballast, each running to the sigle remaining terminal on the bulb.
