T5 54w tubes

Hi folks,

I have a few T5 54w tubes that I am no longer using. These have been used, but are still going.

They will do someone who's trying to get a T5 setup going, but can't afford new tubes.

There are three available....

1x Osram tube... Looks like it says cool white on it, although the writing is blurred now, but the light looks yellowish to compared to my other tubes, so I'm guessing its around the 10,000K range? - R50

1x Glo Powerglo tube..... Not been used that much, so should give many more hours of use. I don't have it to hand at the moment, but I think its the one rated at 18,000K? These cost something like R300 - R400 in LFS if I remeber correctly, but I'll take R100 for it.

1x other tube.... I cannot remember what manufacturer this one was, but its been a great tube. Its rated at 4000K and give a lovely clean white light. Again, looking for R50

Will consider reasonable offers, especially if all three are taken at once.

How big are the tubes?

 

They are all 54w tubes, so are just short of 1.2m. I think they are 1.18m if you want a more exact measurement, but they are the standard 54w T5 length.

You will need a T5 ballast rated for 54w tubes, as they won't run off a T8 ballast.

I also have 4 brand new complete 54w single units (ballast, fitting and 6500k tube - No reflectors) which are surplus to requirements. They are left over from a job lot I bought.
