SunSun 1200l/hr filter...can I add aragonite in one of the compartments?

    Hi all! I'm still quite new to this and I am setting up my tank, now I'm going for malawi alunocara sp and will need a PH buffer, I want to know would it be ok to add some aragonite into the filter compartments? I have two of these filters and the have three compartments each, they are also internal filters! I just want to know if I fill let's say one of the compartments with aragonite in each filter will it damage the filter in anyway? Any advice is welcome :)
