    Okay guys and gals?

    I see alot of talk about sump- and lovely tanks with no filter or heaters (well hidden lol).

    Please give me the SUPM101 411 lol

    What do i need to set one up- is it a DIY job?

    Keep it simple (laymans terms- im not very good at this YET) and dont worry about offending me- we all learn at some point heh.

    Thanks in advance !

    I don't have time to go into detail now, but use the forums 'search' function for the word 'Sump'. There are many discussions on here that have covered this issue. Then if you have further questions, post back here.

    Regards
    G!

    @snyper564 AWSOME SETUP M8 !

    I read your post- but unfortunately i need a walkthrough lol

    You pump8 pushes water out of the tank via a tube into fitration bottle1- (how strong is the water pressure? is the 10mm overflow pipe enough? Are you bottles standing at an equal level or the first slightly higer than the rest so as to facilitate water movedment alond the dired path)

    I have tons of questions lol

    Hence Sump101 hehe

    10mm is sufficient for my tank and powerhead this will obviously vary between powerheads my cycles 450l phour, all the bottles are exactly the same height once you understand how a sump works this will make sense, as this uses the over under over principle, the bottles are above the waterline so the water just uses gravity to go back into the tank my one suggestion here is that you use atleast double the size exit pipe. there are many articles here and on the internet all sumps and hobs use the same principles once you understnad what to do then you can modify any design to suit your needs.
