So today while doing my water change I noticed that the flow of the water has decreased. Upon inspection I noticed that a fish had gotten his mouth sucked into the intake and was now stuck.

Managed to get him out but not sure how bad the injury is or how to treat him to ensure that he heals.

Yeah going to do that ... He is eating though so that's a good thing.

On a positive note though my S. Fryeri has finally spawned. Hopefully he doesn't kill his mate though. I only have 2 fryeri females hopefully he goes after the other one instead now. From what I've read it's hard to breed them in the aquarium because they become very pushy on the females and stress them to death
