    Hey there,

    Need some help.

I added 3 Sword tail fish (1 male, 2 female) to my community tank yesterday, and I have noticed wierd behavior in my current guppy and Betta. Can anyone please explain.

    (1) my male guppy seems VERY eager to mate with the female sword. I'm assuming this is impossible- but could it be tiresome for either one? Detrimental in any way?
    (2) My male Betta has gone into hiding. He did some very impressive displays of showing off his tails, flaring his gills, and 'guiding' the swords around the tank. But as of this afternoon, he has spent the last few hours hiding in the rocks. He came out briefly during feeding time, but is back in hiding now.
