    Hi TASA,

So I will be completely rebooting my 120l tank from today on.

What is the best way to store my current plants and the plants I'm receiving today ?

My ideas was to take a large bucket, add organic potting soil and plant my plants in there and
leave it in outside for time being while I'm busy.

Can someone think of another idea ?

    Thanks

Any idea how long it is going to take? I've kept a few plants just fine in a bucket of water next to a window for almost a month. Admittedly they are a bit worse for wear afterwards, but rebound quickly

Place the plants in a bucket until you are ready to plant them.
Keep them in the original pots, much the same as your LFS would.

I'd say your plants will be find unless the water conditions in the bucket get really poor. What plants are they? High demand?

If you break down the tank today and get everything planted on Saturday, it should be fine to just leave them in a bucket. Add a bit of ferts if you're concerned, but should be fine

Thanks, I actually replanted some of the plants last night already.
Started with the cleaning, taking out of the plants etc. and the rescape at about 15:00 yesterday afternoon. At 12:30am this morning I decided it's time for some sleep.

Just can't get enough of this hobby !!!!

A mate of mine has been in the hobby for a decade and his wife still kaks him out for spending too much time with his eyes glued to the display tank in their lounge. It is massively addicting.
