    Hi everyone.

If you are using Photobucket to upload and share your pics on the forum you will need to use a different service from now on, as they will no longer allow your photo's to show up when using their free service:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-40492668

If you have any old threads with Photobucket photos that you would like to be edited then please report the post and we will see if we can get the images and upload them to the forum for you. :)

    Thanks.

I have seen this on other Forums that I am on.
Apparently they are asking for a $400 "fee" for you to become a paid up member.
Photobucket claim that this only triggers when users reach a certain storage limit (I seem to recall 2 G being mentioned. But I have heard of people beiong locked out of their account way before the limit is reached.)

I stopped using photobucket and decided that uploading directly is better. At least i store all my photos on my pc or Googoe Drive - less headaches

ahh google is free ... for today :)

My workflow .. separate APSA/TASA album with these rights.

So normal device or pc uploads go to the normal default album then I just move them to this album if I want to use them for sharing.

Then when I want to post a pic no say TASA. You browse to that photo ... right-click (no clue what you do on a MAc)
    upload_2017-7-6_18-50-13.png
    Select Copy image

and in your thread on TASA Ctrl+V to paste it.

My image hit rate has improved allot since doing this.

Hmmm something changed that is taking us 4 years back into bad photo quality on TASA. What changed ... I understand that doing copy and paste of clipboard should result in an attachment on tasa and that that content then reside on TASA.

upload_2017-7-15_7-48-3.png and you could zoom in etc.

How I disable the auto owning of the images that I am sharing? Esp hate the forcing of the image size that is reducing the quality of the image AFAIK see.

That is correct. It prevents issues like Photobucket stopping sharing of their images, also a lot of people share Facebook images and FB regularly changes paths causing those image links to then become broken, which results in threads with lots of pics being rendered useless. It's the best we solution we could come up with so far. Image sizes are reduced to prevent slow loading of pages and timeouts for people with slow connections. I have however increased the image size from 800 x 600 to 1024 x 768 which should help a bit.
