I do believe it is Peppered Corries (Corydoras paleatus) only in another color form. Here is some of the ones I got from you a while ago as well as info from Planet Catfish.c9a6e5ae5b37ea97b6ae0d0f4771bd56.jpgbe2ee5e64f6f2f45af123cbf8cdfbe93.jpgd71fed18fc1dbc682896acc6094e080a.jpg4ef04b149574d9036a265a82800878bb.jpg

I seriously believe they aren't Peppered.
Shapewise (esp.the head) and patternwise they look differrent to me.

Damit now even the corrie expert is stumped. Any idea Aad what it might be.

I purely went on the markings on the finns and tail. But now I notice that, compared to mine, their mouth section, from eye to barbles, arn't rounded but more pointed

I think those are a Aspidoras - species. Probably spilotus. Definitely not Peppered to me.

The ones in the first and last pic in your post seem to be C.longipinnis Pierré !

    Thanks guys,

I realised they are not Peppers as I bred therm and my babys was not as elongated as these EVER!

    I agree some Aspidoras sp. - = 1st time I see them :)

Did anyone else saw, kept or breed them in the past?

I would like to. There are members at the UK forum who did. Noticed they are kept a lot in Germany btw. Hoping to get some soon. Lot are crossbred cause they are difficult to ID correctly.

There gave been an article in PFK or Amazonas some time back.

I'll try to find it and sed you a copy.

Some more info for you guys to chew on... Seems like the Aspidorus catfish aren't recognized as true cory's, but closely related. Lets hear what the experts have to say?
