Stocking Help (South American Cichlids)

hey guys , I am planning on getting a 75g tank soon and I want medium sized South American cichlids I can house with medium sized catfish , any suggestions on the cichlids ?
and yes I know , going up to a 125g would be easier but not sure if I have space
-My only idea so far is an Oscar

i assume you mean 4 foot or 250ltr tank?
if you want larger fish
great tank for single oscar, or pair of blue accar or sevrums

yes but that is a central american cichlid
central there are some great options for 4 foot
jack demesy, convicts, green terrors, firemouth and salvini
would suggest going male only thou if you want comuinty
