Sterbai Cory

My Sterbai seem to be trying to segregate themselves from the rest of the fish in the community tank that they are in, by building a dam wall under a bog piece of driftwood.
Unfortunately they share the tank with about 15 Dwarf Neon Rainbows, 10 GBR that are growing out, and a couple of Ancistrus.

I have heard that they build a nest in the substrate when they are ready to spawn, but with all the other fish in the tank, their chances of success are unfortunately very slim.

If I had another tank I could transfer the other fish to, it would be ideal.
It would be nice to see whether they are able to breed successfully in their own tank.

 

Sterbai's are the best cory's, my peppered cory' to lay eggs every month on the sides of their tank, but no fry seem to survive sadly.

What do you feed your cory's?

 

All the fish in that tank get the same food.
Twice a day they get Tetra Discus pellets that have been ground in a pepper mill.
3 times a week the afternoon meal is replaced with frozen bloodworm, daphnia and artemia.
The Corydora and Ancistrus get a Hikari algae wafer every second day as well.

 

Huh they don't build a nest to spawn.
They'll glue the eggs to the glass or big plantleaves. It is probably a plec doing this.
