Good day everyone, i need some advise i would like to keep the following fish in my tank.
    6 X Cardinals
    4 X Pearl Gourami's
    2 X Cockatoos
    2 X Agassiz's
    6 X Tiger Barbs
    4 X Pearl Danio's (Still under consideration)

I will have an external filter, abundance of caves as well as plants.

My question is am i over stocking? Will this community get along?

I’d be hesitant to add tiger barbs. @Chandz ?

I'd advised @tpafou to post on here as I don't have any experience with the other fish mentioned.

However base size is much more important than the litres of the tank and 100 x 40cm is really pushing it by keep a pair with other community fish. I suggested he either has only a pair or a single male and tank mates.

@tpafou You didn't meantion wanting to keep two pairs, I would definitely not advise it as chances are very high that you'll eventually end up with one of those pairs dead.

I would not keep the tiger barbs with those fish, and as @Chandz said, only one pair ...

Yeah, looks good but I'm jumping on the no-bards bandwagon. They're not bad but usually need larger shoals to keep them out of mischief. If you want the orange/red and black colour combo, perhaps try some serpae tetras instead?

Thank you everyone who replied, your advice i greatly appreciated. @Chandz the totals mentioned are singles not pairs.

I would still avoid two of the same specie and rather go with one of each :)

Or should I say, it should be fine.

Unfortunately there's no guarantee with cichlids.
