Starting a 2ft Moss tank

hey all

after a loooooooooooong wait, i will be getting some of the moss i have been waiting for

after seeing the tank my Moss came from, i also turned to the Moss look, and love it!, so now i will be doing something like this.

its bit of a basic layout, so please dont :bigsmile:.....haha



o ja, my new T5 lights are also in this week, so i have alot to do this weekend, all i need to do is collect the Ferts....

 

Unless you are meticulous about keep floating moss to a minimum when trimming .. I say go for one type of moss per tank - or run the risk of having one big moss mess in a few months.

got the moss this morning, both still in a mesh sheet, have to keep them in the mesh for a while, then once i see alot of growth, i will start to plant it in the tank, was also thinking of splitting the two type, one in my 2ft and the other in the 3ft, will first chat to the dude that gave them to me, and see what he thinks.

was thinking of doing a moss carpet for now, then later doing the moss on the driftwood an Lava Rock.
