Standard tank sizes

    Good day all.

    I have a small 30l tank and want to upgrade to a bigger tank. What are the sizes of a standard 3ft and 4ft tank?
    I tried google but get mixed results.

    Usually 3ft (81L) = 90cm x 30cm x 30cm and 4ft (108L) = 120cm x 30cm x 30cm.

    Sizes may vary slightly depending on where you buy.

    3ft commonly called the 1m is 91x30x35 and the 4ft is 1.2x40x45 or 45x45

    also all standard tanks are STANDARD sizes,no matter where you buy it,anything diferent to those measurments would be a custom built setup

    I would probably go for the 4ft tank, it has more depth and hight.

    I totally agree with you on that, I had a DARO 3ft and when I had the bottom crack I upgraded to a Sun Sun HRPC1200H which is a 1.2m or 4ft tank. I could not be happier with this size tank. I know that you will be happy with a 1.2m (4ft) tank or perhaps even a bigger one just depends on the budget and available space you have. As they say the bigger the better. All the best with your choice.
