So I decided to try breed these guys. I got 4 adults, 1 male and 3 females. So I'm currently keeping them in a smaller tank to see what they like to eat and to quarantine them. Their breeding tank is going to be a 2ft will lots of rock piles and 2 large sponge filter.

Nope. I moved back in march and most of my breeding projects got put on pause. Now with loadshedding I'm not looking to get more fish or breed till it warms up again. I lost 10 geophagus in the last 2 days unfortunately.

Oh man I sorry to hear that. Ja load shedding is a battle. I have been fortunate to have not lost anything yet. However I can see my fish taking strain.
