On the sporting menu this weekend:

    Euro football
    SA v England rugby
England vs Windies in a 5 day test (if it stops raining)
    French Open finals
    Le Mans
    Canadian F1 GP

I suggested to the Mrs that she move out for the weekend so that I can have the tv to myself.
Let's just say that comment didn't go down too well. :boxing:

And we're having an expo in SA! That certainly puts an additional spanner in the works!

Yup, you will have to squeeze it all in somehow.
And record what you can't watch live

I unfortunately am restricted to watching only sport offered by sabc, so I dont get to watch any. Miss my GP big time, but I hnestly cannot justify the dstv subscription price just for a few f1 races.

Sporting weekend is usually a sign my wife has lots of stuff planned for me. Kind of like the getting your car washed if you need some rain.

If you have an internet connection of 4 - 10MB then you can stream most sport events. Sites like Justin.tv - Streaming live video broadcasts for everyone I'm Lucky our DSTV is canceled but my DSTV on demand and supersport on demand streaming still works, but its laggy because i only have a 386KBPS line.

I use my Galaxy TAB with the 3g connected at times (8ta data is dirt cheap). The ping is a bit high but you should be able to stream with it.

Hahaha For me it is a different kind of weekend, Guild Wars 2 Beta weekend - so playing as much as possible, going to Killarney race track to watch some racing, F1 as well, I will skip the rugby tho :p

Well, was a good sporting weekend.
The kids duly went to the inlaws at lunch time on Sat, so I parked myself in front of the tv....

First watched a bit of test cricket.
Then the 1st half of the rugby.
Then the 1st half of the Holland football match (RVP - poor. Really poor!)
    Then the F1 quali
    Then the Germany/Portugal football match.

By the end of it my eyes were

Then yesterday was the Italy/Spain football match followed by the F1 GP, and then the 2nd half of the Ireland/Croatia football.

Luckily I got a bit confused. Le mans is this coming weekend. Not this one just past as I suspected. Don't think I could have squeezed more sport in!

England / France this afternoon. Don't have much hope though.

    @Wyvren

A very good race. Quite exciting at the end.

    7 races - 7 winners. Amazing!

I know, I have to say this season is so far the best in the last 4 years.

I am loving the fact that there is so little difference between the teams and it comes down to strategy. I groaned when vettel did that last pit stop but in the end it was the right call for him since he ended up in front of Alonso :p Not sure what is going on with Button this season tho. And they really need to retire shumi now. He is 18th on the points! I mean, he is officially a has been, where Raikkonen is actually improving every week.
