Spirulina

    Well. Id say my spirulina is growing quite nicely.

    Was a little bit of a pest to find a live culture in South Africa though.

    Cool setup, did you find there was benefit to growing it in a fish tank, as opposed to in a plastic tub or bottle? Is this more cost effective than buying the dry or powdered form? And what exactly do you use it for?

    I understand that a live culture is important for a few things, such as feeding certain small live foods, small and herbivorous fish fry, as well as planktivores. But I haven't seen this being done by an at home-aquarist for a freshwater setup.

    Lol no. I done this as a separate project. The main reason I was growing it was for a protein supplement for a few of my friends at the gym.
    The reason its in a fish tank is because its what i had available at the time. I just moved it to a 210L drum and filled it up with fish
