    Hey
I bought myself 2 Stunning Spiny eels today. They seem very happy in there new tank with my other fish. They were also very Cheap. I was expecting a bigger price tag. Before i Bought them i read that they eat pellet,s blood worms and anykind of other worm and that they love earth worms. so i thought great, coz i have loads of earth worms. But they don't really seem interested in earth worms. so what would you recommend me buying them?

    Hi Franna
    Firstly congrats on your eels
They are stunning but be aware the absolute escape artists and will take any crack and cranny as a welcome invite to see waht on the other side.
With the food they do LOOOOOVE earthworms to the extent that they eat them even if there has to hang a piece out of there mouth for the next hour or two:eek: Just give them a day or two
My ones don't really go on flakes or pellets but will try anything meaty that fits in there mouth.
If you can keep them inside your tank, you will have fun:bigsmile:

    Hi Johan
Can't share your experience have a well planted tank and never a problem. I found they rather if at all like loose sandy patches. ma ones preferred hiding under wood and stone but where nearly through out the day active.
    Just my observations though

Then I must say you are lucky cause I had one and man did I have problems keeping my plants in the sand but I suppose that it depends if you have the one of the following buggers ( the good the bad or the ugly):bigsmile::bigsmile:
