Anyone with experience on sparkling gourami can you please tell if was better to house them alone with some Ottocinclus and eventually pygmy cory when I can find them, at the I currently time have neon tetra but they seem to be picking on them and the otto fish. If any one can suggest and peaceful fish it would be very much appreciated.

They are not awfully competitive species, so personally I wouldn't keep them with much else. Your idea for using more bottom dwelling species is ideal, but at the same time there is nothing wrong with having a tank with just one species. With good numbers you will doubtlessly get some breeding activity, as well as a host of interesting behaviours.

Sparkling are smaller, more gentle Gourami species.
A heavily planted tank is ideal.
Avoid boisterous aggressive fish as tank mates.
