I guess it's a carnivore - eats fish, worms, shellfish
Well maybe not in the true sense.

    Tank progressing nicely.
    Lungfish settled in well.
And have added a few South American cichlids to fit in with the theme.
The Moillies were my daughters choice :blushing:

South American Lungs (unlike the African species) are ok with other fish.
So far, it's been ok, and doesn't seem too bothered by the other fish in the tank

Plants not going to stand a chance. Only floating will be ok.

    @dash,
    Thanks.
Will post updates as things progress.

    I am missing the Discus.
    But not the water changes!

I went to the lfs that I took them to on the weekend.
    One sold already

    Lungfish doing well.

    A few photos:

Here it is eating an algae pellet:
It chews and spits out a few times before swallowing.
A bit grim to watch when it's fish fillets

Yes, there are some of the Tetras that were there from the Discus setup.
And I have also added some Severums, Angels, and Bandit Cicihlids.
So far, he has left them alone. In fact, often when I feed it, the other fish snatch those half chewed bits out of its mouth.

Oh ok cause the reason I asked one would think he is top of the food chain and any other fish would be food

The African Lungfish are very predatory and you can't keep them with other fish.
But SAL are supposed to be fine with other fish (and mine so far has been ok). In fact, it is quite slow at feeding time. I had a Platydorus catfish with him that I had to take back to the lfs. Every time I fed, the catfish snatched the food, and the lung was left with the scraps, not the other way round

If they had to name this fish after a body part, a lung is not the first thing that springs to mind for me!?

How ow about a full tank shot @Reedfish?
