Something different normal plants wise.

Since there has been talk of airlants i thought i woild show some of my mums staghorn ferns. I just love these plants

 

Very cool - I was looking at them the other day - maybe to add to the fishroom? was not sure what the light requirements are.

They dont need direct sunlight, just water especially during summer heat. They do like bright light tho but as I said they don't need direct sunlight. The big ones in the photos are over 20 years old. They need a very weak fertilizer (altho mum doesnt really do that often anymore). Also all of these are attached to some driftwood. They are a slow grower but I love them. Make sure if you attach it to a wall that the wall is a solid wall, supporting wall is preferred since they become heavy - we need three people to move the big ones.
