Some stocking options for SA&CA cichlids

    Hey guys , just getting into South&Central American cichlids. Right now in my QT tank I have a 3-4 inch firemouth , oscar and blue acara with a 3 inch bichir (senegal). I want to add one more cichlid into my 5ft tank , some of the choices I have are jack dempsey , salvini and green terror (terror and dempsey have attacked bichirs in other peoples tanks so a little worried + salvini can be hard to come across). Are there any other cichlids with decent colour and safe to add that I should consider? Thanks!

    I like this idea but which species do you recommend ? My biggest concern is sourcing one , seem to be very hard to find .

    oscar and bichir get large and when they do a 5 foot tank is going to be pretty full
