Some of my tank pics,

Hello everyone. I have decided to show some of my fish and tanks. Sorry still beginner and all phone pictures.
My convict girly named bekkie, i got here in february. She was/ is very stunted as she was at petshop for ages but fell inlove when i saw her. She is such a gentle girl, housed with leopard danios and guppies.

That was my 3ft tank with 3danios and 6 guppies and bekkie the convict.

Next is my 4ft tank. In it i have 2 young blood parrots, an angel and 3 swordtails. I know as the parrots age and grow i will need to make better home arrangements and i have a backup plan . My mom also has a big tank to house one, not sure which one yet.... The sorrows of being a mom.. Hehe.
The lighting is bad right now will get that sortes out. It makes all the fish a bright red/orange colour. Let me know what you guys think? Keep in mind im still new to fish keeping.

 

The parrots are still camera shy and are difficult to snap pics of and the angel wont stop moving. Will post pics as i can manage to take them

Nice tanks full of happy healthy fishes - with names!... don't get much better than that!
I might just be old and full of ......well you know what, never really liked those parrots, but then again I love my mudskipper, puffers etc...all pretty fugly fish and my sons have names for most of them too.
Like the sword tails.

Thanks so much for everyone's kind words, i really do love my fish. They are all named, well the danios i cant tell apart but together they are the three musketeers, spelling sucks. I cant wait to get home after work to see them. Going to redo my 3ft soon. Still planning that one. I also have a fry tank for the guppies and also managed to grow out a swordtail, its named pipsqueek.

I have done about 6 months of research on them before i took the leap. I know that because of the hybridization that personality is unpredictable. And thats ok, even if i must get another tank so be it. I love alex and piper. Hahha

Thanks, not sure why its fin is slightly crooked. I purchased it like that. Its growing fairly quickly though
