    Hi Rowland, You want to get those rocks covered with algae. When your fish start to graze the algae from the rocks you will experience better colouring and also they tend to grow faster.
    Toook Labetropheus Fuelleborni Katale young from home to my shop and dumped a male and two females into my 1000l show tank. The rest were put into a tank for selling. These were feed primarily flake food. Those in the big tank grew twice the rate of the others because they spent quite some time of the day grazing. Even experienced them not coming to eat when I fed the tank flake. Colour and size was amazing!
