Today I bought 6 Assorted Angels(1 black,1 Zebra,2 white,1 marble and a black and white one) and I also bought 2 Siamese fighters.1 Blue male with a white female wich has 2 dark lines on her cheek and has purple/Blue fins.I added them to the tank. Now the male is flashing his gills and circling her and chasing her. What should I do and what is happening?

He wants to breed. Male Siamese fighters are almost always in the mood to breed; however, females aren't. Because of this, the male might harass the female continuously. Either she'll give in and breed with him, or she'll sustain injuries from his 'flirting'. It'd be best to separate the pair for now.

Split the pair and don't put together unless you want to breed.

If you really want to keep male & females together, put one male to approx 4 to 5 females

PS - Oh, and have enough plants or hiding places in the tank

it will spread the female agression, they form a hierachy, and the male will not be able to focus on one female for too long.

Cos they'll get to live in peace. One female = 100% attention of the male; several females......

the females would still need to be in a group, as i said they sort themselves into a hierachy with a dominant female and an omega if you have too few females the rest could bully the omega to death. reccommended minimum is 4 - 5 females. good luck dude i would love to start a sorority.
