I lost my yoyo loach and after finding no physical damages. I decided to dissect her. She had an inflated belly which I though was trapped air. Turned out to be a large amount of eggs which were causing the swollen belly. Anyone who has dealt with this before or has a solution. This is the second fish that I have lost like this.

@Kiaan26 sorry for your loss. Please check your water parameters esepcially the amonia levels as we have been seeing higher than normal amonia levels in tap water from this past 2 weeks. I just tested our tap water again today and believe it or not my water in the 400L has zero amonia and the tap water is at .4ppm today. Last night it was at .6ppm.

    Sorry for your losses
I do agree with @David Kusner as far as testing your water with all the drama in last few weeks

However egg binding happens not only in fish but birds as well
I havent read up on this for long time but if memory serves me right, in birds it can be caused by a deficiency in something
I would suggest you do a bit of research and see
I will also dig around and see what I can find
