    so as the title goes , what do you do for a living ?

    havent seen any post about this , we all wonder what people do , esp on a forum .

    i work for a rental company , property rentals in durban , not the easiest of jobs sometimes, but the money can be okay , if you used to ups and downs , been in the company for 10 years.
    have a variety of addictions, motorcycles being the worst so far , but i have toned down on that , only have one atm , used to have 8 in varying stages of repair, ( kinda learnt from that and work , that the most stable investment or future proofing is not in the small things , but larger ie property etc,)

    regards halo123. / angus

    Cool topic, I'm a pilot for an aero medical service in Durban. No not helicopetrs. Also have a craving for motorbikes. Slowly rebuilding an RGV 250 but starting to get a little pricey. I always wonder what ppl do for a living on here.

    @azurekoi LOL! Doing what?

    I'm an artist and scientific illustrator. Mainly botanical illustration, line drawings of plants for books and so on, when people discover a new plant species I'll draw it, dissect bits under a microscope, sometimes notice extra things that they missed :cool: Also do "normal" art that I try and sell, as well as jewellery and stuff. Guess I'm technically also still a student, still busy on my DLitt on animal and plant names in ancient Hebrew. Also studied archaeology, and still go on digs sometimes. Oh yeah, and archaeological illustration too. Skeletons and things!

    Nice , would loved an rgv , you ever need help let me know, tend to scrounge on gumtree a lot will let you know if i see anything of interest! ,

    not quite over the bike thing , surprisingly , i am 27 havent ever owned a car , came close once to buying an old morris, til i saw the xt250 stashed at the back of the guys shed, nuff said.

    still prowl the gumtree for bikes, but atm i need to sort out my finances, next year , if i get all my stuf sorted looking at buying a 650 , dualie , either a bmw , klr , or ultimate xt660. ( yes i would love xt500 but wouldent be able to kick it due to the titanium in my leg , bike acco in 2008 , still laugh at people who have a little oopsie and will never ride again , broke my leg in four places , needless to say, was rebuilding a bike in crutches, even made a trike kit , and rode it , for the thing , and buying bikes i couldn't start , ( priceless moment buying an it250 in crutches ) that said dunno which is more priceless , seeing the mate who fetched the it for me start it on the 3rd kick , and decide to ride it round the corner with no helmet come back extremely white faced, never quite got the full story from him of what happened , but me thinks he gassed and ended up on the back wheel ! ) its starts young and either leaves or its here to stay, my addiction with bikes has made it very known that its here to stay)

    hmm , yah , the first addiction was computers , which i found strange , cause i despised the things as a kid, didnt want to end up as a desk jockey , drinking too much coffee , N+ an A+ and mcp later, hardly ever use it , cept if they break stuff at work , part of the job description.

    I'm a Registered Financial Advisor at Liberty and I do Investments on the Stanlib Side.

    Also a bike fan. I have a Honda VFR 400 NC30 but its in need of a "new" engine.
    An Aprilia RS125 two stroke (Something wrong with the engine aswell, Must investigate but I lack 2 stroke engine knowledge and Aprilia parts are $%^& expensive)
    And a Honda CBR 400 Race bike from my racing days (oh how I miss that).
    Sadly they have been gathering dust but soon I will give them some tender love and care.

    hehe yeah we all need it but most of us cant afford it , had to cancel my med aid two months ago , cant get life ins i want atm , ( preexisting genetics) almost no one will cover me for more than accidental death, had cover a while ago until they told me they would only cover accidental, wtf i dont plan on dying any time soon , that said maybe i could jyppo the system , when i have the cash , dont plan on hanging around too much longer if they tell me i need to walk around with an oxygen tank . "it will be an accident" ( funniest thing is , never ever used the med aid for the cf , only ever used it for the acco )
