Does anyone know where I could pick up a VERY SMALL 25w heater in the jhb area (preferable the west or north area?) I can get a normal 50W that's fairly small... but not small enough. And I think a 25w heater will suffice for my 12-18litre Nano tank!

Zoom I have seen some at Reptipets on Northumberland that's the only place I have seen them!

I don't know the pricing bud sorry!!!

I have a small one at home that I was using for my 1ft but it boiled most of my fish shorlty after using it, so in my experiance rather use the larger one. However knowing the setup you doing, I know the answer to this lol ...
Looking forward to seeing it ;-)

Jager does make a 25 watt heater – 230mm long. Maximum aquarium size 20 to 25 liters.

Yeah they do... but it's still too big in size! And no one in JHB have stock of them!

Thanks Lizid. I'll pop in there a little later. Meeting the Building Inspector at one of my completed projects in Eagle Canyon... so I am literally across the road from him!

Thanks to a PM from Argorn, I have sourced a 25W heater, 150mm in length, which is ideally suited for a 20-25litre tank. As I am using it in my 12 litre Nano, it is ideal, and have placed the order, and it should be posted to me this week.

    Thanks Argorn.
