    Nice setup! Why don't you leave the tank viewable from both sides?

    If you are going planted then a planted "island" with open space right around would look awesome. There are lots of examples on the net...

    I think that would look awesome, just need to find a proper way to hide the Filter's intake and outlet as well as the heaters and wiring for the lights.
    Maybe slate flakes in the rear corner?

    With that size water volume and tank specs I would look at a low tech planted setup. Vallisneria, Anubias, Java Ferns, Moss, Amazon Swords...Lots of big wood pieces...

    I see why you looking for Valis.. i have plenty for you, you can use Valis to hide quiet a bit, just a warning tho.. once it catches it grows like crazy you will need to maintain else it takes over. but i like @Hawks idea, nice island with lots of swim space for the fish.
    what have you got in mind fishwise for this monster?

    @Ammar
    It will be an Amazon tank.I'll go for the smaller specimens.
    I am viewing Amazon Abyss now.I already have episodes 1 - 5.
    @Hawk convinced me with the video to go that route. It is different but if done properly would look very nice.

    Nice video. Makes you wish to have a bigger tank that you can try to create something like that.

    Tank is planted with low tech plants, used some fine black and white gravel separated by rocks,
    and very fine sand around the "island".
    Substrate is from Prodac and I used 8 kg.
    Tank is still cloudy but will do 50% water changes twice a day for 4 days to get rid of the cloudiness.(From the fine sand because I did not wash it properly)

    Will post pics later today.

    looking good.

    You cash wash gravel 100 times and your water will still be cloudy when you put it in the tank.

    What are you stocking this beast with?
