    Please could anyone comment on the pros and cons of glass vs perspex sliders.

    I've only used glass but I assume one of the benefits of glass would be the clearness of it, thereby allowing more light in.

    glass is cheaper...

    Glass is cheaper and I've found it is easier to clean. But wow, if you bump the glass harder enough, it'll shatter. Acrylic isn't especially susceptible to shattering, but it won't look as nice over time.

    It will discolour and become cloudy over time. And it scratches easily.Only benefit its flexible. Just my 2cent

    Glass will cope better with the heat from the lights
