sleepers in tank

    I got 2 old abused and character full sleeper can this work in a big tank ?

    I would advise not to use sleepers. . . If you are referring sleeper wood.

    In the old days it use to be treated with arsenic.

    Nowadays even the carbolineum used to treat it will kill your fish.

    I have used old sleepers in waterfeature construction in large koi ponds in the past without a hassle,but agree with Zoom - not in an aquarium due to much smaller volume of water....

    Can always cover it in an clear resin - wont react with water that way...... Ve hav vays und meens....he,he

    Test it on a small piece of wood first.... Some epoxy's go a sort of milky colour when submerged - wont look very natural....Sorry I cant help you with a Brandname,but havnt done this for a loooong while...lol
