I have now gone Tanganyikan with this tank.

    Tankmates:
    50 x Frontosa
    10 x Leleupi
    9 x Tropheus
    7 x Dickfeldi
    6 x Brichardi
    1 x Albino Brichardi
    3 x Lamprologs Ocellaus
    2 x Cyprichromis Leptosoma

I want to add something to clean the glass. Any suggestions.

NICE!!!!!! Do you know what you gonna do with the eccess Frontosa when they grow biiger? what do you use as substrate? im not sure but if that is bubbles in the tank be carefull for the front as they will get float very easily because of that. They will swollow the bubbles.... there is a diiference of opion regarding that but i have seen it happen to mine. other than that i think some DIY Texas holy rock will look good in the tank.

Thanks @Ebrahim. I will have to sell them or trade them. I use sea sand for substrate. Sea shells and driftwood for tank furniture. Yes its bubbles. I have kept fronts in this setup twice in this tanks lifetime with no problems. I hope I don't encounter float.

I really need to add a algae eating fish or 2. I don't do glass cleaning in any of my other tanks but this tank has some extra maintenance in glass cleaning and I don't have the time.

i do water changes every week and with that i clean the front glass with a sponge. if you use lights maybe you should put it on a timer and have it on only a few hours at night.

I got 18 tanks to do water changes and filter clean-ups once a week.

these rocks are called "honeycomb limestone" or Texas "holey rock." And as you may have guessed by its name, it is endemic to Texas. it will also help with your ph.

    Looks good.
Maybe I should have gone for a Tang setup instead of my SA/Amazon biotope
I was tempted at one stage.
