I got home and "found" some of these... just "magically" appeared in my tank.

Best you let the municipality know that they have contaminated water again.

That is brilliant! I would not mind something like that happening to my tank...

Update on my lil low tech tank.

Things grow very slowly, but the plants look much healthier.

Trimmed the s.repens and added them to my 2ft.

Also trimmed the java moss, the moss grows so nicely in this tank. Hehe.

    Here's some pics.

Still need to level the front of the substrate. . But just too lazy to do it at the moment.

Like the rock work on this tank .. is that sandstone and are you still running is under your DIY lights?

On you next photo - pretend you are shooting for a competition - remove all the stuff like heater, return pipes and the moss for now then post the pics ... you will be amazed at how BIG this small tank really is.

    Later Ferdie

Thanks, @f-fish. Yeah it's sand stone that I had left over from my cichlid tank. Still using the 2 x led down lighter. No ferts or co2 atm so these lil lights work for now. Hehe.

Yeah definately, it's just a schlep to take everything out. Im kinda lazy like that hehe. But when everything grows in then will do a comp pic.
