Silver dollars

Let say ive got 7 silver dollars and 2 desided to go about and mate its a bare bottom tank will the other folk eat their eggs logic tells me yes but have not had dollars before so???

Yes they will definetly eat the eggs. So if you can move the parents after spawning or the eggs if possible.

 

You could put a large-grained substrate, where the eggs will fall out of the parents' reach. While the fry will still be at risk if you leave them there, it gives you some time to remove the parents to save the eggs.
