Silkworm food.

    Hi all.
    I want to get my daughter some silkworms. The problem is that I don't have access to Mulberry leaves. I have read that you get artificial silkworm food.
    Can you use the artificial food entirely as a replacement for Mulberry leaves?
    Were can I get this artificial food?

    Also did the beetroot leaves thing when I had my silk worms. It's cool when they spin the web then it is pink / red

    WHen I was a kid my silkworms lived exclusively on Lettuce leaves as well.
