Sick Malawi Cichlid - Help

I need help with a sick Malawi cichlid.

He is the only fish in the tank showing any signs of a disease.

I noticed it a few weeks ago and treated the tank with a general cure for 2 weeks. He seemed to stabilise and started eating again. Then he took a turn for the worse again. I am now treating the tank with Microbe-Lift Artemiss and Herbtana in alternating doses at 12 hourly intervals but he is not getting any better.

It looks like an infection or parasite that started attacking him from the inside. It started when his fins looked a bit tattered and then an area appeared on the side of his body, looking inflamed. The scales came off and his body healed but then it appeared again a bit further back, behind the first area.

The pinkness looks like an internal thing. I have no idea what to do and would really like to save this fish.
