Sick Goldfish

    Hi everyone.

    So I have this Black Moor. It is about 10cm in length. Not sure of its Age since i got it with my tank about 3 months ago. everything have been perfect since. Last night everything was fine as well. When i woke up this morning the fish had lost most of it black color with the scales on the side turning silver. By the time the afternoon came it started to lose a few scales here and there. currently the fish seems to be in the brink of death. I have no idea what went wrong, my first impulse was to think that it was velvet disease but according to my knowledge it should not progress as fast or cause scales to fall off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    sorry, can't figure it out, could be very serious form of valvet disease

    How big is the tank?
    What sort of filtration do you have?
    How often do you do a water change?
    Any tank mates, if so, what?
