    Good morning all. I'm based in vanderbijlpark. I have a 30l shrimp tank but I'm looking at getting smaller tanks to breed specific shrimps. Looking for 24k gold shrimp and a small tank under 30l, will also get green jades but have a source. Thankyou

    If we can build a small stand maybe someone can build me 20cm cubes, I'll run them all off the same light, but want them connected so I can use 1 heater and one or two sponge filters

    Personally I would not go that small with shrimp breeding tanks - larger volume means more stable parameters

    Good morning. Thankyou @A new day I decided to wait for my shrimp to give birth, 4 or 5 has eggs and then I will catch and sell them and leave my blue jelly and add 24k, it all depends on how much money I have. Just don't want to run 2 tanks then I have more plugs, Do you think I could divide this tank?

    Dividing the tank will mean less volume so not something I’d recommend.
    If you divide it with something permeable then that won’t affect water but your division would have to be shrimplet escape-proof. The babies are really tiny and able to crawl through even netting- I’ve seen this. But once they’re grown up they might interbreed on the wrong side.
