Show Guppies wanted

I am looking for some attractive show guppies to breed with, i would preferably like them in groups of 2 females and 1 male per strain and about 10 different strains. Must be in KZN.

If I may ask, what are your plans for the guppy fry once you have successfully bred them? I ask because I did not think ahead when I first got caught up with guppies and ended up with hundreds of guppies and nowhere to put them. Petshops are usually reluctant to take fish from the public cos of diseases and when they do they want to pay something ridiculous like R3-00 a fish. And there's only so much friends and family can take from you. And unless you planning them as feeder fish, there's not much else I could think of doing with the surplus guppies. Just food for thought. Enjoy the rush you get from breeding them.

You also need to define between show guppies (as in just pretty and showy fins) or line bred guppies.

Line bred are "pure bred"

Just pretty and showy fins are guppy's on death's doorstep.

 

"2 females and 1 male per strain and about 10 different strains" to do true line breeding with 10 strains you are going to need in excess of 50 tanks - you sure this is what you want?

 

I think he might come back in the morning to see if anyone has some "show guppies" for him... then he'll see nothing, and never come back.
