I love those Crypts! Maybe some anubia petite on that wood. You could have a plastic mesh wall at the back a nd grow some moss on it. Also maybe some red plants...my two cents worth.

    You talking about the A.crispus?
I have a very tiny piece of petite Anubias that I'm growing emersed, just got it today. Not a bad idea at all. Would love a few more.
I was thinking about the mesh and moss idea but what a mission that's gonna be now, maybe in a few months, def an interesting idea.
I also just added some red plants today, only two, different types as well, I wanna see how it looks when it takes and grows out, I might want to add another short bushy red plant on the wood right in the middle. But going to let the plants all settle and take for now. I plan on wrapping the reineki mini that's under the Anubia around the bottom of that branch, so it gets lush and bushy. There's a madagascar lace there too, just started recovering and has one small 7cm leaf so far, looking healthy.

Does setting up and breaking down again count? :D

I have 2 display tanks, busy with a third. And another empty tank - waiting to find a fish species I like. And another 5 breeding tanks. And a daphnia tank. But I am not addicted.....

When I say empty I mean its ready for fish, just no fish in it. It has water and plants.

Yeah, I painted the outside back panel black. Offers great contrast and helps with depth perception.

I'm going to fill the back wall with stems plants. Looking for something other than green to add now. It's changed completely since I last posted it.

It's filled up quite nicely now that I compare. Personally, very happy with the progress these few months.
Now, just to be patient for next few months.

    Looking super there dude!
If it was mine...and this is personal preference.. I'd tint the back glass. I use cheap auto tint.
    And maybe a carpet...

I'm still considering tinting the back.
I make my coffee from that side so I'm conflicted. Lol
I have HC, UG, Stauro and cobra grass planted in the front half of the tank, it all just needs to fill up. HC has been quite a challenge and I've lost most of what I planted. The UG is still new, so I'm.finding many floaters on a daily. Stauro seems to be doing well, and the cobra grass has started taking. Also fairly new, but I can see new shoots coming up. What other carpet plants can you suggest?

What you have planted is real carpet aquatic plant. If it died you need to look at the triangle: LIGHT-FERT-CO2
I did some non-aquatic and it worked out okay but not sustainable.
